The Ministry of Transport Communications and Information Technology organizes a workshop on internal identity

As part of the community service initiative of the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, the Directorate General of Administrative and Financial Affairs and the Directorate General of Planning organized a workshop on (internal identity), with the participation of employees from various government agencies.
The initiative aims to transfer knowledge and experience to various government institutions and showcase the best practices and activities implemented by the Ministry in the field of enhancing the sense of institutional belonging and raising the level of productivity within the institution.
The workshop included 4 main axes: internal communication, which includes all activities and events that provide common communication channels between the ministry’s employees, and focuses on disseminating knowledge and making employees familiar with activities and news within the institution; The second axis includes the best practices and initiatives implemented by the Ministry in order to provide a stimulating environment for the employee, including the Naqla Project, which is an initiative that aims to spread an institutional culture that supports the vision and values to enhance institutional affiliation, strengthen internal communication between employees, and work to create a work environment full of positivity, optimism and motivation, as the project contains On a number of entertainment and educational initiatives, such as: the Naqla Tours Initiative, the Naqla Sessions Initiative, and the Youth Challenges Initiative. Among the practices implemented by the Ministry is honoring the employee of the month and welcoming new employees within the Ministry.
The third axis dealt with ongoing practices, including improving and documenting procedures, and an awareness program for the human resource, which aims to raise the level of awareness among employees regarding employee administrative procedures and labor laws.
In addition to the “Ejada” grievance system, and employee involvement in implementing the ministry’s annual projects.
As for the last axis, it dealt with the plan of initiatives and practices, part of which was implemented at the beginning of the year 2024, including: “Green Environment,” which is concerned with paying attention to the health and safety of the work environment through the application of recycling, and the “Innovation and Institutional Change Management Platform” initiative, which is a special platform for collecting creative ideas that would Managing change effectively towards achieving institutional excellence and enhancing employee value.
In addition to the “Sunday Meeting” initiative, which is a meeting that takes place between managers and the general director of the directorate to discuss developments and challenges to be escalated and resolved during the week, and the “360 Degree Evaluation” initiative, which is a 360 performance management evaluation to increase transparency and equality among employees. The application of the Lean Six Sigma methodology was also discussed .
It is worth noting that the workshop is part of the Ministry’s participation in the initiative implemented by the Ministry of Labor in research and studies entitled (Internal Identity) with the aim of transferring expertise and benefiting from the experiences of government agencies in the field of internal identity
